The folks at Mäkelä Auto-Tuning Oy (Ltd) in Finland "restored" a 1929 Model A Tudor which they claim is the fasted Model A in the world!

After you watch the movie -- which is great, BTW, -- click on the Projects tab, go to page 2, click on the last project on that page. There are 200 pictures that depict the "restoration". I was quite enamored with the "wood spoke" wheels that they produced for this project.

I just saw the car this afternoon. Here is how it looks at the RM Auction display. It will go up for auction later tonight. It is amazing the amount of items that are included with the car including parts, timing tags, literature, trophies, etc. etc.

The car was bid to about 190K last night but it did not meet reserve and did not sell.

Someone will regret that down the road I think. That 190 will get you a worn out Bugatti.

Most of the worlds problems are electrical.
