Default Looking For 94 Carb Rebuilders

Hi guys, I am new to this site and I hope I post this right.

I am looking for someone to rebuild two 94 carbs for a 50's style dragster I am building. They will be straight linkage units with no chokes as I am in Bakersfield, CA (average temp 75-85 deg).

They will be on a non Ford motor (Chevy 194 L6) about 150-160 HP. A friend of mine runs three 94's on his 240HP rail with 8.5 PV & 58 jets in all three. I am thinking 5.5 PV & 54 jets in both of mine, but I have no real experience with these carbs.

Can anyone help me out?

X4 for KenCT. His kits have all the right parts. No off shore junk. His rebuilds are first rate. PM him and tell him what you are doing. He should be able to set you up.

Now that you have several excellent references, I will chime in with what you will also find a lot of on this site. Why would you need "94 Carb rebuilders."? Too many hands spoil the pie. One should be able to do it. LOL

Old 28, wish i could help you but i my opinion you need 3.5 or 4.5 power valves and probebly around .050 jets [maybe smaller] jets are a crap shoot anyhow, you would have to take plug readings and go from there. I cant get the PV's in those #'s any more 5.5 and up i have and dont have extended shafts, which in reality you dont need if you use pre 48 carbs, there is enough shaft sticking out the drivers side to install your linkage. ken ct.Ive done many like that. I would leave the choke butterflys in just wire tie them open.Carbs will pass more air and run better. omo. Also i thank all you guys for the plugs on my work,im sending you multiple carb guys to Charlie ny,uncle Max for stroms and 52 Henry. Thanks again for the good words. ken ct.

Ken CT -- I got your PM and sent a reply. If I need them can you still get 3.5 & 4.5 Power Vales along with the kits that are USA made?

Shoot that was an easy fix, hope it worked for you. and old 28 NO my supplier will not purchase the required 1000 pc order of 3.5 and 4.5 PV's each.So im out of luck. Im going to talk to Charlie,ny and possibley buy some of his modified ones he turns out.I dont have the equiptment to modify them,we'll see it might be a good time to downsize some. ken ct thanks.

Per Ken's suggestion. Refer to post 10. I would try Uncle Max if I was running 97s.

Try "52 Henry" on here. ken ct. I'll retract this statement. Uncle Max is the Strom. guru on here but Charlie NY is good also. ken ct.
