Found a nice steering wheel for my '40 1 1/2 ton. Decided to think about it and when I decided to pull the pin I couldn't remember where I saw it. Moral, if you see something you want either buy it on the spot or at least write down the space number. It was a nice wheel with the horn button and worth the asking price. Bad decision on my part.

I found a little bit of junk...

I always enjoy that swapmeet, although I spent more time selling than out shopping this year...

An unspoken rule for the L A Roadster swap meet. If you see it, and want it; BUY it !
I got bitten by not obaying the rule. There were a couple of guys that were selling restored and nos '32 items. Really wonderful stuff. They had 2- K-members. One early and one late models. The price was a bit higher than I wanted to spend. Now mind you; I spend a great deal of money, time, and effort just to get to LA. After sleeping on the price, I bunned it back to their swap space early Sunday morning, just to find that they gone home. You snooze- ya loose. dummy/dummy/dummy

The guys you're talking about were on a corner spot at the parking lot end. Names? Eric and Dominic from Boyle Heights. I had them sell some of my best '32 stuff. They had it all. Very few low dollar parts on those tables. Same parts on my junky tables would have been overlooked. I also left Saturday night, exhausted even though the swap area is even farther from the entrance and smaller than ever. Good Luck: Fred A
