Default reversed eye spring

What do you guys think of a reversed eye front spring for my 36 pickup?
mine is in sad shape

A reverse eye spring will give about 1" drop from a like-new spring. Not much for the effort, unless you want to drop the front significantly and use a dropped axel as well.

If you use a dropped axle you will probably need to use dropped steering arms also.

Go with the reversed eye spring. I did it to my 39 and like the way it sits. No other changes need to be made.

You don't need to buy the complete spring. You can just buy the reversed eye main leaf and use the rest of your spring. Sacramento Vintage Ford used to carry the reversed main leaf.
