Default 32 transmission

Would a 33/34 ford 4 cylinder car transmission be the same as one for the 1932 ford car...I know the shifter top is different but are there other differences??????

Yes. Along with the shift lever housing that you mention, the rear transmission mount is also different due to different cross member designs.

Yes, as long as you are talking 4 cylinder in the 32 as well. The part you need to convert the rear mount from 34 to 32 is easily available repro. the top plate might not have the mounts for the handbrake, but yoyu can improvise if you can't fins a 32 top.

Mart.
