Default Slant windshield tudor

Never seen one of these before. Similar to the 3 window coupe.

It would have sold, but with the vicky, there was no need for the redundancy.

Ford offered a slant windshield Tudor and Victoria in 1932 and weren't concerned about the redundancy.

I've got a friend that had a 31 Sports Coupe that had a slant window that he had bought and wanted to get more information about it, so he took photos of it and sent them to the Ford Museum and asked if they could furnish any information about the car. The return letter told him that Ford never made a slant window 31 Model A Sports Coupe and that they didn't know what he had. They suggested that maybe someone had used two different bodies to make it. I have done a lot of body work thru my 75 years and if that was true, they sure did an outstanding job. Anyway, that letter ruined my friends love for the car and he sold it. I had told him that I wanted it if he ever deiced to sell it, but he must have forgotten. I didn't care who made it because it was a beautiful car.

true dat, but the v-8 is what sold the 32s.

Look at how many more body styles ford offered for mid yr 30 and 31........... off the charts!
another reason why so many prefer 30-31 over 28-29.

Had considered building a 31 3 window. Not a hard build as I perceived it.
Have gathered all the required components. Vic cowl and doors; coupe rear quarters.
Unfortunately time and age have sunk many of my dreams.
Would not have been a horribly difficult build. The rear quarters of the Model A 3 window prototypes (see Vince website are more like a 32 rear quarters) Couldn’t sacrifice any 32 for such a build
Oh well ….lots of dreams don’t come true

Dreams not coming true is acceptable. I leave my wishes to God’s Will……..but some turn to nightmares!

I’m ready to order one today…… oh, I see, I’m a tad late and hopelessly optimistic. I did enjoy the relative quiet driving and clean look of my two ‘31 SW sedans. Clean looking vehicle and thanks for the crisp photo.
