Default axles

before i pull them out does anyone know how long they are and how many splines this is a 64 ranchero futura 6cyl stick now an auto and bearing size big or small 8 or 9 inch thanks

Very doubtful it's a 9 inch and may not even be an 8 inch becuse of it being a 6 cylinder. Does it have a pull out center section? If so, it's probably a 8 inch.

I just had my '64 Falcon Futura's differential refurbished. It isnt an 8 in. but 7.25. Small. They have a reputation of being noisy, but now mine is quiet. The V-8 Falcons may have had 8 in. rears.
