I had them mounted on a set of WIDENED 35 wheels for quite awhile but a guy came along that wanted them so bad he could taste it so I sold them. I replaced them with a set of Centerline, Hellcat model. These are the same width (7 in) as the 35's were. The wide tires will cause a slight increase in steering effort with a stock steering box. I have a Ford PU box so I don't notice it. One of the most noticable effects besides the softer ride is the shorter stopping distances. |

Re: radial tires
I run 215-65R16's on my 31 S/W. Uniroyal "Tiger Paws". They sit a little fat looking on the '35 wheels, but ride very smooth and give the car a very stable feeling. Hard to steer when sitting still but steering improves once car begins to roll. Still not as east to steer as 19" wheels and tires. I will be installing one of the F-100 sterering boxes on it next month.

Re: radial tires
SO NOT TRUE!!!!
It's no longer an original but no way is it a hot rod. Websters dictionary; Main Entry: hot rod Function: noun Date: 1945 : an automobile rebuilt or modified for high speed and fast acceleration.

Re: radial tires
Coker 550-16 front 750-16 rear
Like a new car over the 55/60 year old 19s yes you can get them in black next time I will not get the white wall. I dive the wheels off my car rain or shine and it is a pain in the a$$ to keep clean |
