window glass..... darn!!!
Hi,
Just finishing the install of my interior after having body damage fixed (Tom Flop), paint work and other small details.... But, darn it, I broke one of the rear side windows on my '30 Tudor. I don't see them listed for sale anywhere. Where does one buy glass for a 1930 Ford? Thanks, Jack D in Pittsburgh, PA |

Re: window glass..... darn!!!
You can get one cut at your local glass shop
The vendors sell them but its cheaper and easier to go local |

Re: window glass..... darn!!!
Take the cracked glass with you for a pattern. Most glass shops can cut flat glass and you will save shipping cost.

Re: window glass..... darn!!!
I had all the glass for my coupe made by a young fella who was very reasonable. Now I'm considering getting Wing Brackets and having him make the glass for them too..

Re: window glass..... darn!!!
When I lived in LA I needed glass for my 1936 Chevrolet and the shop had the patterns and they were done tempered (side glass). Well the Chevy came with laminated glass but it would have been great if I had had my model a glass done like that as it looks and rings just like the original plate glass! Sorry for the pic I couldn't stop myself.

As far as I know, Berts in Denver still cuts safety plate glass for model A's at reasonable prices.
