Flathead Engine Completely rebuilt with new parts. Engine block cleaned in electrolysis tank, re cleaned by the machine shop and crack checked. Bored 0.060 Rebuilder’s Choice 4 ring pistons (Egge pistons) Hastings rings. new cam bearings (Durabond) original cam regrown by Holman Moody (Isky 400 jr grind). stainless valves, reground seats, Johnson lifters, Isky springs connecting rods re-conned, new bearings (Clevite P.) Original 4” crank checked and turned. New crank bearings(Celvite P.) Center main blower strapped. Melling 19 oil pump. Best gasket set (copper head gaskets) EAC heads clearance d for valve lift. Original “truck” watepumps Flywheel resurfaced Starter rebuilt for higher torque, Currently this engine is set up for a 12 volt negative ground electrical system. Below are the 12 volt modifications. Mallory Unilite electronic distributor. Jim Lender AKA Bubba coil. New 8MM wires Fuel pump rod plugged. Set up for an electric fuel pump. Removing these items all allow the installation of 6 volt positive ground components an electric fuel pump for 6 volt operation. This engine is offered with a rebuilt Holley 2 barrel 3 bolt carburetor on a Ford 8RT intake. An aluminum four barrel intake and 500 CFM Edelbrock/Weber 1403 and/or an Edelbrock 3x2 intake with matching Holley 94 7RT carburetors is available at an additional cost. p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 115%; }
