Choke and Throttle cables
After many phone calls, and emails I have about given up on finding these cables for my 46
Ford. According to , the "green bible" these are the same from 1942 thru 1948, with the throttle cable 53", and the choke 43". I have a set of reproduction cables for the V8 cars which are just about 12 to 16 inches short. How have others solved this problem with restoration of a 6 cyl car or truc?. All advice welcome on how to do this. Please call me at 541-990-7377, or email me with a private message. Many thanks, Paul Ingram |

Re: Choke and Throttle cables
Try these...may have to call for lengths. As my Dad said, "You can always make a cable shorter, but they don't stretch very much."

Re: Choke and Throttle cables
You can buy cable at your local hardware store. Same stuff as used on lawn mowers etc. This can be cut to any length and you can use your own fittings on the ends. Just went through that with the trunk latch cable on my rumble seat deck lid. Worked great. Good luck.

Re: Choke and Throttle cables
Here's what you're looking for:
Available here: http://cgfordparts.com/ufolder/cgcat...&sp=Search+%23 C&G's listing says "Item Discontinued" so maybe you've already called on this one and confirmed that. If so, that would be too bad. I bought this set a few years back and it was perfect.
