Since the beginning of the use of cars in Argentina we have used right hand drive.
It was because there was a strong English influence in the Argentine way of life, the streets had the same way circulation that Great Britain.
On Sunday June 10, 1945, Argentina changed the direction of street circulation vehicles, left the English rule to drive by the left hand and joined the American and French way.
There are many reasons why most of the world used LH drive, I believe one of them is because drive on the left was an inherited custom of the carriages, as the drivers used the whip in his right hand to whip the horses.

If I may add to this explanation from Verrece from BA Argentina, the Argentine was one of the big producers of meat ,wool etc to the British empire [ even though not officially part of it] along with Australia , New Zealand & Canada which supplied all primary produce to Britain pre Second World War.
Argentina would have been heavily influenced by British methods in those times, thus the RHD on pre War vehicles.
They were pushed out of the British market, in the same way Australia ,NZ & Canada were in post War years when Britain aligned itself to Europe & The Empire became the Commonwealth with independent members. This was after we had all been forced to buy British manufactured goods & supply them with cheap primary produce for decades.
