First spring trip outside town in the 1946. In Norway.
My mother had a knee surgery in my home town Kongsberg and needed a lift to the coast town Toensberg on sunday. I took the 17K miles 1946 as it offers a good comfortable ride for the lady from the same year with a bad knee, and it is closed and has a heater. She was thrilled! and the car runs smooth as silk and really liked the fresh air. Henry`s boys did a wonderful job back then, as this proud Ford is still bringing joy and great times on the other side of the atlantic ocean some 68 years later.
The spring is finally here and even though we had snow in the mountains falling on sunday, the lower parts of the landscape is very nice. Sunny but still jacket weather, my favorite weather actually.
