Default 32 door latch removal

hey guys, im trying to get the door latch out of a 32 coupe passengers side door,
the handle wont turn and im thinking the lock, although gone, im thinking the latch in in the lock position, not letting the handle work the latch,
inside door handle works fine ..

o and i have the 2 screws out above and below the latch, and 1 screw, all i can see, removed for the inside ..

Have you removed those screws in the top center of the inner door panel for the remote inside door handle? If not, you'll have to as the remote and latch are permanently attached to one another with a link and both must be removed to access either one.

Doesn't the window side channel get in the way of removing the latch? It's been along time since I was inside my door.

You also need to remove the rear window fuzzy and metal channel. There is a screw at the bottom of the window and a screw that can be seen in the door jamb about 1/4 of the way up from the bottom of the door.
You may also need to remove the window regualtor assembly if it's still in there.
