'32 Style stanchions on Model A roadster

Hello.
Has anyone out there modified a pair of '32 style, roadster bases and stanchions to fit a Model A roadster? It would be waaaaay too beyond belief that the two cowls share the same contours ... Right? Has anyone heard of an aftermarket product that is made for the "A". Have any of you, mere mortals, without benefit of a home foundry or CAD driven machine shop, been able to modify a set of stock bases to fit an "A"?
I am not looking for a Duvall (sp) style frame. I would like one which offers the same flexibility as the stock framework, going from vertical to slightly raked.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is/was a company that makes adjustable stanchions for the '29 roadster.
They are two pieces. The bottom pieces allow the windshield to be tilted forward or back to various positions. They also make chopped upper stanchions to go with these adjustable bottoms.

Somehow you are not painting a very pretty picture. The '32 didn't have a gas tank in the way and had lots of room for the stud style lower stantion. Bob

Here are my 30 deluxe folding posts on 28 lowers with a cowl tank.

And no, I did not chop any original lowers, I fabricated them .

Well done Pooch, looks great.
You seem to have done extensive modds to your car, could you post more pictures pse.
What is the little black thingie between the filler cap and the screen? Looks like a window washer nozzle.

My A's are modified/street rods. The gas tanks have been removed so that I have room for electric panel, heater, shelf, etc. One has a/c.
It would be very little trouble to bolt through (also reinforce) the (formerly) gas tank. What I need is to find a purpose built lower which will fit the the contours of the A gas tank top.
