POR 15 is NOT for Generators

I'm trying to get this generator apart that someone covered with POR 15. My impact driver couldn't budge the mounting bracket screws, and only tore up the head on one. I can't imagine how much extra time it will take to sandblast the crud off the case. This one looks like they poured POR 15 over the old paint and rust. I really have no use for POR 15, but on generators and carbs, it's really bad.
