Default 1936 cut up firewall repair.

heres a repair i had to do because of a really bad modification done way back when. seems like a torch and a hatchet were used for this mod. i'll just post pics and if you want to ask anything, please do.

i did the same thing to a 40 coupe about 4 mos ago. Why people have to cut the fire walls up i don't understand.

Nice job. I had to make a similar repair on my avatar a couple of years ago. However, I was the one responsible for the damage back in the 60's when I put a 289 engine in the car. My car also had a bunch of extra holes in the middle where someone had installed an aftermarket heater. I was also lucky to find an excellent donor firewall on the Barn to make my replacement panel from. Thank goodness for street rodders.

Super great repair job. Been there done that but not quite that extensively.
