1936 Ford Roadster & other collector cars in flood waters.
A very sad sight of cars trapped in flood waters, believed to be in California.

It's on the San Francisco peninsula. Likely has some salt water in it. Definitely an ugly situation.

Absolutely heartbreaking to see this. The pristine condition of the cars pre-flood is obvious based on the pictures and the storage setting.

Not good, but it does not look like the water is high enough to get into the motor (at least on the Fords). Prompt cleaning of the seats may salvage them, new light switch and wiring harness, re-lube all bearings, new carpets, and they should be good.

The Corvette body should not care about a little water (LOL).

Wow!! This is very sad to see. Many were previously destroyed by fires, and now possibly by floods. The insurance companies may take a beating on this latest disaster.

When insurance companies take a beating, we get beat up even worse in round #2

Here is the Link to that Video showing the flood waters in a garage of classic cars, including the 1936 Ford Roadster. This is one horrendous heartbreak for the owner of these beautiful cars. Our heart goes out to him at this time.

There has been potential flood warnings for the past two weeks in California and particularly the bay area. I have no idea if this happened prior to the warnings or not. A lot of the places in the bay area are built dirt fill that was past swamp land.

I saved my Fiat spider that was flooded to the windshield. Changed all the fluids 2 times. Changed the oil and ran it until hot and changed it again. Boughtl a case of electrial cleaner and a case of rust check. Sprayed every electrical connection with contact cleaner and chased it with rust check.
Garden hose in the alternator while running. 2 electric heaters on full in the car to evaporate the water. I Was told the wiper motor alternator and starter would probably fail prematurely from the silt. I replaced/ repaired each one within a year but that was all.
I was working on it as soon the the water receded, my brothers MGB was also flooded and both survived with minimum damage and both are still running 15 years later
