Will a 40 Merc Hood fit on a 41 ford pick up ?
Thanks ahead of time.
Have a chance to do the swap and need some advice/experienced info

It's not a direct fit. It's longer and has a lot of little differences in profile. A person might be able to work it but a front end swap might be easier. In any case it would be a lot of work and a person would have to have some skills in working sheet metal.

The Merc hood is not only longer it is also a lot wider.

Maybe a 39 deluxe or 40 standard hood might be the way to go.
