Default MAFCA Restorer

Looks like several people still have not received their November/December 2015 MAFCA Restorer. Sorry to hear that but the problem of it being late seems to rest with the USPS. I doubled checked to see if it was our problem at MAFCA .... but confirmed that all Restorers were mailed out October 26. It does seem strange however that several people who live outside the USA have already received their copy yet quite a few members inside the US still have not received their copy.

We have all heard horror stories about how late the USPS can be with their mail deliveries but I hope this is just a short delay for a few of you. The Restorer is such a great publication I can understand why anyone would be upset not getting it on time but hopefully it will eventually be delivered to everyone.

I just got my Nov/Dec issue Monday (north of Houston TX) I have a couple friends that have not seen this issue yet. I don't know the MAFCA magazine delivery logistics, but chances are besides the USPS being sloth, they got stuck someplace before delivery to USPS. Just to add salt to the waiting wound, It's a Great issue, as usual.

Sorry I was not clear in my post Tom, but the October 26 date is the day ALL the Restorers were delivered to the USPS and is the date on MAFCA's receipt from USPS for our postage cost. I hope this helps as a clarification, but I know it does not help in any way with the delay many have had with their delivery of the Restorer.

The MAFCA Board has even had some discussion about an electronic publication of the Restorer which would obviate just about all of the late delivery problems however we still have several other issues which need to be resolved.

In some areas, don't forget the Mail Carrier must read it first..

I'm honored that a picture of our 68C made the cover this issue! We had a great time in Colorado.
