Default The passing of Jill Sullens from MAFCA

FROM MAFCA SITE:

August 26 - It is with great sadness that we report the passing of MAFCA Chapter Coordinator, Jill Sullins. She died peacefully on August 25, 2015 with her family at her side.

Jill served MAFCA as Chapter Coordinator in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, as Secretary in 2007, 2008, 2009, and as Vice President in 2010. She also served as the National Awards Banquet Chairman in 2003 in Dallas and the National Meet Chairman (Acting) in 2008 in Dallas.

Please keep her husband Garland and the Sullins family in your prayers.

Sad day when we loose any A'er, even more so, one that contributes to the betterment of the hobby! Her family and friends are in my thoughts....

Thank you Mark and Steve for your kind words. I have only been on the MAFCA Board less than one year but I quickly came to respect her opinions and quick incites to any item coming to the Board. She was highly respected by everyone on the Board and her passing is a not only a significant loss to the Board but also a major loss to the many MAFCA chapters she tirelessly represented as their Chapter Coordinator.

I met her on the Natchez trace tour . She took care if my registration and special shirt I needed for mg since past friend terry Oberer
I'm sorry to hear she passed away . She was quite a Spark plug and I know will be missed

I liked her Chapter Chatter column in The Restorer. It always felt like I was having a good sit-down conversation with a friend.
