Does anyone know the host hotel yet? I get the MARC magazine, saw the meet, and e-mailed for more info. I guess they are waiting to lock down the terms...?

Asheville is beautiful country. The Blue Ridge Parkway is very accessible. Some very nice restaurants in town. The Biltmore estate is a must see. The Pisgah National Forest is very close by. I am definitely going.

Hello, my daughter and family live in Winston Salem, maybe see if they can put me up in their “guest shed “ for the MARC meet!

Asheville is 2 hours and 13 minutes away from Winston-Salem by modern car on Highway 40, according to Google Map. Add whatever time it takes to get to Highway 40 and from Highway 40 to the meet.

Got this email from the organizers: “ALL information is released via social media, the MARC web blasting and on the MARC website. We are not ready to release host hotel information at this time.”

After posting here to ask about it, I found the ad in the latest MARC magazine. It is a MARC (Model A Restorer's Club) national meet in Asheville, North Carolina, USA July 15-18, 2024. Since it is less than 2 hours away from where I live, I am very much looking forward to going. https://www.exploreasheville.com/

You'd think they would be more proactive in getting the word out on this, especially with a post thread like this.

If it's true that they're using social media and their website to advertise this (and the magazine) I think they're missing out a bit by not including info on this and other active A forums.

My summer 24 plans are already booked at this point, tickets, hotels, and all.
