I have been told this is a 1929 60-C, I have also been told it is a 1930 170 B. Can anybody help me out?

Re: What model is this?
The person that told you it is a 1930 is confused by the cowl which was unique to some of the 4 door sedans.

Re: What model is this?
Looks like a 1928 60-A (brown roof material) with 30-31 wheels. Rod

So its a 60-A or a 170-A, what is the difference between those two?

Re: What model is this?
170-A is a steelback. 60-A is a leatherback, meaning the top covering material comes all of the way down the back to the beltline. Your pic is pretty small even when enlarged, so hard to tell if the top material is there or not. Rod

Re: What model is this?
It is a steelback, there was never any top material on the back. There is also a strip of moulding around the top on the back that stops the material from going down the back.

Re: What model is this?
It is a 1929 60C Steelback, I've got the remains of one if you need any help. Bob
