Default Get her going

A good friend has a 33 fordor with a 59AB engine and hydraulic brakes. He knows next to nothing about mechanical things to do with these type old Fords, but would like to get it running and so he would like AAA to deliver it to someone in the east San Francisco Bay Area and get them to do the work honestly and make the car a reliable running machine. I'm not a lot of help as it has been years since I fooled with the early Fords. I know this car did run pretty well, but has been sitting for many years now, probably five at least since it was last out. If there is someone in that business, or that would help with this, please let me know. PM or ?

Check with a local EFV8 club would be a first step.

Dave- there is a shop in San Francisco that can help you if you have no luck in the east bay. Most of their work is on older cars and trucks that other shops turn away. Three generations of skilled mechanics under one roof. PM me if you would like their contact info. Good luck
