Default 32 Truck firewalls

Could some please inform me if a 32, 33, 34 truck firewalls are the same and if not what the differences may be? I am working on a 32 cab and was told a 34 firewall will fit. Thanks, Tom

A 1932 pickup firewall is identical to the passenger firewall and it is a separate piece that bolts to the frame and fits to the opening with a rubber seal.

A 33/34 firewall is welded to the cab.

The cab are basically the same so I'm sure you could use a 33/34 but there don't look anything like a 32 firewall.

1932 firewall,,

Posted before I added the 33/34 firewall,,notice the 33/34 protrudes out into the engine area

Thanks, Think the 34 firewall is what my buddy wants to install. Cab is going to be channeled and he could use the extra room for foot room. He was told it would fit but was different.

He'll need to remove the firewall (easy) and the cowl band (will require drilling spot welds) before installing the '33/34 firewall. He'll also need to extend the sub rails a bit, too.
