Passenger front wheel wooble ???
Everyone,
I finished putting my newly rewooded front wheels on today and took my 1917 car out for a spin. My wheels are the non-demountable clincher type and the original hubs are new to my car. I replaced the old style roller bearings with new Timken bearings. I now have a slight but noticeable wooble to the passenger side front wheel. The car steered and drove fine in the neighborhood at speeds of 15 to 20 mph. When I got back to the garage, I jacked up the car checked the wheel. It is securely on the axle. The king pins seem fine (very very slight movement was noticed when I tried to rock the wheel. The movement is the same on both front spindles.). Any ideas as to why the wheel would wobble? Your thoughts are appreciated. Thank you. |

Re: Passenger front wheel wooble ???
Are you saying it wobbles all the Time except at the mentioned speeds?
