As luck would have it, Larry had a rebuilt starter and gave us the use of his lift so we could install it.

After checking out all the cars in Larry’s collection and all the Moonshine tour cars, we took a ride to Dahlonega, GA and had lunch. After lunch we drove over to Dawsonville to check out the cars and swap meet at Thunder Road. The “NEW” ’40 Coupe body was on display at Carpenter’s location.

And, there were a lot of cars on the field.

We met Buster at his display with his ’32 “B” Roadster, ’53 F-100, Midget Racer and an assortment of Cushman Scooters.

We also met Kiwi Tony and his RHD ’36 ForDor.

It looks like I’ve got to give the computer another rest as it won’t let me post any more photos right now… Stay tuned…

Boo, glad to see you made there. You know where I was. Now I'm hoping I'll make Daytona, but I do have your support vehicle pass for you.

Ok, let's see if I can get a few more photos posted. These are some that I took on Saturday.

And here are a few "parting shots".
Mike & Steve

Homeward bound.

Another outstanding event comes to a close... Now we'll have to get busy planning the 2013 Florida "Barner's Bash".

Hi Tony, it was good to see you as well. The parts should have been left for me by Joe Smith. If you could send them to me, I'd appreciate it. Talk to you soon. Vic

Wow still basking in the afterglow of a wonderful time at the Moonshine Fest. Glad to have seen some old friends and also made some new ones. You people are great! That's what it's all about. Thanks to Vic and Steve for giving me a lift there and back, hope I can get the `41 back up next year. Can't wait!

Thanks Mike, as usual, we had a blast. Rita (Gene 40Cpe) wife, emailed me a few photos of our group.
Here we are enjoying each others company and lunch.

It's too bad we couldn't post the sound from this Flathead...

Awesome pics Vic! I hate I missed this years show, but my second son was born that week, and I needed to be home with the Mrs. Next year, hopefully our 48 Fordor will be on the road packed with 2 car seats.

Congratulations Brad, I'm sure the birth of your second son was more rewarding than going to a car show. We'll look for you, your wife and sons at next year’s event. Vic

Help please... I need Joe Smith's phone number in Atlanta... Joe left me some parts (in Kiwi Toney’s '36 RHD Fordor, a story for another time) at the Moonshine Festival, and I need to send him a check but I don't have his address and (CRS), I don't know what I did with his phone number so... If anyone has it and can PM me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. Vic
