Anyone used Wood N' Carr wood?
Just got an order of wood from Roy Nacewicz for my 33 and was very disappointed in the quality. Package tray has a 3/16 bow and a split, seat frame has a split in the vertical support for the seat back and the notches on the side look awful. Rear window frame has a twist in it. All the pieces came in one box with not a stitch of padding. Yes I will be calling and returning all items but wanted to give others a heads up not trying to start a bashing. It is what it is.
So looking for someone else. Anyone used Wood N'Carr wood for a 33-34? I know they are into Woodies primarily but also offer wood for non-Woodies. Called Brads Woodshop and he is too busy. |

Re: Anyone used Wood N' Carr wood?
I have a Wood N'Carr complete body wood kit in my 32 3 window, I bought it 20 + years ago and it fit really good, I have no idea how he does now. As a side note I have a Roy Nacewicz wood kit installed on my original 32 seat and it was good quality and fit. I have used Brads wood on several projects and it is definitely worth the wait if you can get him to do it.

Good luck with WNC, a while back their times were very long, and forget about asking a question of them. You may want to look at Brads wood shop 360-378-3886 Ask if they have an on-line catalog. They do have a paper one.

Roy is noted for great products. I am sure he will work with you if any problems that arise.

That was my impression of his stuff also and was surprised by what I got. What really got me was no padding at all in the box. Have left a message for him but assume he is at Hershey.
