Rare winter pics with A
Thanks to the miracle of Global Warming, we are snowed in here in Georgia. I took the occasion to photograph my car in the rare white stuff.
In preparation for this photo shoot I had to shift my two vehicles around. The A made it to its appointed spot and then back into the garage. My 1998 pickup is hopelessly stuck for the duration. Delicious irony.

Like the pics, Peter. I always like a black A, especially in the snow..

From OP (original poster)
Even though I was born in the mid-1940s I have always loved the '30s. My house was built in 1936 and I spent several years trying to restore it to more-or-less period condition and appearance. Once that was done I started looking for appropriate accessories and ended up with a 1930 automobile.

Great picks of your cool (pun intended...) Tudor! The black definitely looks good with the lack of extra "fooferall" on it. Looks like you could use some hub caps though. I'm into antiques to besides cars. I use to use candlestick phones exclusively in my last home. In my new one in a semi-rural setting it does not have phone lines, so they say. And to put ones in they want plenty extra bucks which I don't think is right. Heck, the cable company has lines up on poles?? What ever, we only have cellphone service because of the less cost. Nice to have snow without road salt
Must be nice. Here in Chicago, you can't avoid the stuff.

James great picture. I notice you have it pointed downhill just in case the battery goes.

From OP
Snow plow? What an intriguing idea. We get so little snow (at least until the era of Global Warning) that it would be impractical to invest in specialized equipment or chemicals (salt? ugh). We just wait it out. Unlike our northern brothers (AKA damn Yankees) we don't know how to drive in snow an ice, so we shut down for the duration.

Re: Rare winter pics with A
It's pointed down hill because I live on top of one and there is not much flat land around me. This is a view down my drive.

Re: Rare winter pics with A
Hubcaps will go back after the wheels are repainted later this winter. I am going to black on black. Should really contrast with the occasional snow.
