Very nice early October Briggs Town Sedan. At just under 60,000 miles, the car has never been totally dissembled. The interior is original except for the carpets. The interior trim had been brush painted gold so, when I installed new safety glass in the doors and windshield, I had the trim correctly wood grained. When I installed a new top, I was able to reinstall a number of headliner tacks. Installed five new tires and tubes. Installed a new wiring harness. Rebuilt the brakes and steering as necessary. Trans overhauled. Bored the engine .040 oversize, new pistons, rings, hardened valve seats and "modern" valves. Rods and mains remain standard. Paint was done in acrylic enamel in 1960 and remains very nice. The Chrome plating is correct for the build date and all original. Not perfect but nice.
