Default Visiting SF/Petaluma soon

I will be visiting my sister in Petaluma for a week around Labor Day (Aug 29th to Sept. 5th). I'd like to attend any Model A-related activities that might be happening in that area around that time. Please let me know what is planned.

I would also like to meet up with any Ford Barners that live in the SF area or north of there, to see their cars and meet face to face if possible. These discussion boards are nice, but it is sure better to be able to put a face to a name.

Please reply here or with and e-mail to me: 29A at comcast dot net

Thanks!

Personally I'd spend all my free time driving up and down the Pacific Coast Highway. Bob

I am from that area, born and raised. If you contact the "Sonoma "A's" Club, they may have some events they can recommend for you, if nothing else, they had at one time, many members around the Petaluma area.

The Sonoma A's are a great group of people. Look up Steve Lewis in Sebastopol.

I wish we had a sticky thread that folks could list events early enough for people to make plans to go .

I dont belong to any clubs so I have to depend on you for info .

Make it like the swap meet , just the info and no posts that would screw it up.

Pluck, I asked for a back to topics or back to top button at the bottom of a thread page , but never got a reply . I have no clout

I think I killed my mouse scrolling back to the top to change pages .

I use the "backspace" key when at the bottom of a thread to do what I think you are asking to do. It takes me back to the list of topics, right where I was when I clicked it.

You have to be presistant with him and prove that this sort of thing would be benificial to the hobby.

Don't give up.

Thanks, Bob. I had found the calendar for the Sonoma A's and see that I arrive the day after their meeting. It seems I will miss the Marin club August outing also. Oh, well.

I will try to meet up with a few individuals instead.

Any last-minute additions?

Anyone in the area want to meet?

I have heard from one person to meet.
