Default T 170 Transmission

I have what I believe to be a 4 speed overdrive transmission with an aluminum case set up such that the shift lever is on the top cover of the transmission case (not on the tail shaft area). I was told it came from an 84 or 85 F150. The tag on the transmission reads as follows: top line: RTS BT JG4 Bottom line: E6TR KA 0069

Can anyone tell me the gear ratios inside? I am particularly interested in the overdrive ratio but all help very welcome.

If nothing else, please let me know where I can find information on how to decode the tag as a transmission shop and ford dealer were not very helpful.

Thank you in advance!

Pete

There are posts in the early v8 forum that should help you. I've googled the rts trans in the past and have found the info you seek.
