And Mecury was the only one that made a true two door hardtop wagon, as well as a 4 door version. Other American companies made true hard top wagons, but they were 4 doors.

Interesting that some 1957 Mercs had single headlights and later 1957 models had four. Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler also made the jump to four headlights in '57. I heard some states did not approve this until 1958 when just about all cars had four headlights. What was the deal with the push for four headlights? Time for something different?
