Horn Question
I need some electrical help. When I blow my horn, the horn button heats up. Is that normal. Also I have to rev up the engine to get the horn to blow without sounding like it's dying. Is this caused from a bad ground?

Re: Horn Question
It seems to be normal for the repro horn button, but not for the originals.

Re: Horn Question
try removing the back cover on the horn and put a couple drops of ATF on the front and back of the armature shafts
you can also ground the blue/yellow wire from the horn to bypass the horn button Last edited by Mitch//pa; 03-10-2013 at 06:43 PM. |
