Default Three carbs for the '41 Pickup

When practical I like to make parts for the project. I cut out from walnut wood some plates for under the carbs. The linkage drops were carved out of aluminum stock. Brass rods were made up for the linkage connectors. The coil will be mounted on the front. I had a lot of help from Stromberg 81 (Duane). He really understands how Strombergs work and is very particular in the assembly. I could have put the carbs together myself but let Duane do it and I know they are done right because of it. I highly recommend him for anybody that wants work done right.

Just did linkage for the carb to firewall. Some aluminum round stock was drilled and tapped. A slice along the backside allows the ball on the carb linkage to slide to the bottom of the tap. A stainless button head bolt is attached to keep the round stock in place. A brass rod is used to connect the two ends.
