Nice!! I saw one at a car show yesterday on the back of a rat rod. It had the letters H. A. T. E. and under it, were the words, Hotrodders against the environmentalists!!

I don't like offensive things displayed on cars.

Can't even spell right - it should be build not built in the first part.

Jeez I'm grumpy this morning!

Mart.

While I agree with the premise, I think it's a shame that some people can't express their feelings without incorporating vulgarity, and what makes it worse is when they can't spell or make their statement grammatically correct, that serves to diminish any credibility the author(s) may have had.

It most likely was the Chinese printer who screwed up the wording or spelling, but the vulgar gesture has no place.

I'm surprised this thread has lasted this long. It is beyond the forum goals.

Funny thing is, as this is a forum with a strong bias towards restoration, a lot of people here do build 'em bearing in mind what other people will think. (Judges).

I don't fall into that category myself, but have respect for those that do.

Mart.

Yep, it's a shame that people find it fitting to subject young eyes to such things. The finger could go.

I totally agree, but would add "childish & immature" to it.....

While I do agree with the thought process I do find the need to be in your face about it needless. It's also missing the point of not needing to defend what you love. I build my cars to what I like, if somebody doesn't like it well then ok. I don't like everything I see, but I also know the feeling of watching some poor guy who has worked really hard on something, missed the mark by somebody else's standards and then been crushed by some very poorly placed and timed critiscism. some people look for a fight in everything they do. Me I'd rather enjoy everything I do and avoid the fight. Humor is where it's at, and that is not lost on me. If I thought for one second I had to fight my way through a gathering of cars I'd just quit and go back to only surfing instead.
