Default Emergency Hand brake lever extension

Emergency hand brake lever extensions have been made by Fulton,Wells, Motorlever and are still being made for Ford Model A's and the fit Ford V8's up to 1936 as well as Graham, Reo,& Auburn with this type of handbrake lever.
I would like to know what model of hand brake extension would be suitable for 1932 year of Fords and the advantages and disadvantages of them and how popular are they.
They were not a Ford approved accessory

I found one on a rusted 35 coupe on the farm cleaned it up and fitted it to my33,
I used it for a while then took it off,it was easier to use the hand brake by itself.

Hi there, The cast aluminium hand brake extension lever in the right hand picture was made in Australia. I believe it was an aftermarket accessory not genuine Ford. There were many fitted in their time and are not too hard to find today. I have one fitted to my 34 sedan, works good. Regards, Kevin.

I had an ad here looking for a Fulton e-brake handle extension for over a year before finally getting one. A fellow Fordbarner from Canada found one for me at the Carlisle, Pa flea market, bought it and mailed it to me. It was in good condition but needed to be replated. Instead of having it replated I glass beaded it and painted it brushed silver. Installed it last spring and absolutely love the way it works. I like to set my e-brake tight and in doing this itwas sometimes difficult to release by pushing that top button down. With the e-brake extension in place, it is no problem to release the lever. I have since picked up another one on epay for my 5w coupe.
