'32-'48 clutch release shaft removal?
How do I remove the clutch release shaft; the fork pin is peened over and I can't get to it? Does someone offer new clutch release shafts? If someone is making new ones then I won't have to bother with removal of old one.

I bought a new shaft from Little Dearborn here in Minnesota. I also got new bushings for the housing at the same time.

Not sure I understand what you are trying to do, but years ago on my 1940 Ford I drilled out the pin that secured the fork to the clutch release shaft and reinstalled fork by first drilling and tapping the shaft and then used a threaded socket head cap screw with nut and Locktite to scure the fork. That was 20 years ago. Still works fine.

Re: '32-'48 clutch release shaft removal?
Installing a bolt was a common replacement for the peened clevis type pin. If you can't get a die grinder with a small wheel in that lower area, you just drill the head and push it out the other way. I have a long nose hand held pneumatic belt sander that fits in there OK. It gets real fun when someone puts a grade 8 bolt in there and then peens the threads over so the nut won't come off the bolt. I've been there and done that too.

Re: '32-'48 clutch release shaft removal?
Thanks everyone for the info. Am mating a Mustang toploader to my 8BA and the adapter will need a clutch release shaft, was going to remove shaft from spare trans. I have but no need to do so now that I know I can get a new cross shaft.

On the T-5 tranny kits I sell I us a 5/16 X 1.5 double spiral pin to hold the fork and outside lever. It is different from a double roll pin which is not as strong. Never had a reported failure.

One of the ears where the pedal release shaft attaches was broken off mine. If you cut the old shaft to get it out, keep the pieces. Its a perfect size drift to drive out king pin bushings.
