Smile Ford Mechanical Training Course

Hi,

I recently acquired with a parts collection an original "Ford Mechanical Training Course for Service Men". See photo attached. The training material includes 9 films and 9 long play 78 rpm records. The films are in perfect order, however a couple of the brittle bakerlite LP's are broken and therefore unusable. I am in the process of having the films converted to DVD for posterity and back up if ever I lose/damage the original material.

Is there any one out there with the same collection who could make me a copy of a couple of the LP's. I need LP No. 2 Hydraulic Brakes and LP No 9 Lubrication - Anti freeze and Quick Battery Charging. Happy to trade or provide a DVD of the collection when completed.

Thanks

David

If you decide to make the DVD's avaiable, I would like to purchase one.

I have a somewhat similar set up. It was used by Advance Schools Inc. and was meant as a "Mobile Engine Course. It comes with a projector, 4 film strips and 6 two sided very floppy 33-1/3 rpm records. Real good for club nights etc.

The Early Ford V-8 Foundation Museum in Auburn, In has the combination record player projector and the same set of records that you have.
