Default walker Iowa

Are any Ford Barners living in or near Walker ,Iowa. I'm interested in contacting Lowell Meyers of walker engine rebuilding. It is my understanding that he rebuilt the 21 stud engine in my 34 roadster & I would like to know what he installed. B T W I got it fired off last night after it had sat for 10 or more years. Runs guoood

Lowell passed away last July. His youngest son Bill is a friend and has a shop nearby. His shop # is 319 224 3731. Tell him Woodroe sent you. Also, many of Lowell's rebuilds were done by Ron Tegee of Cedar Rapids. I have a couple of his engines fresh on the stands. He is now retired but Bill should have the#. RPM

Thanks so much guys. Sorry to hear about Lowells passing.I will try to get in touch with his son but not holding much hope on finding out what is in this engine. The fellow I bought the car from is also the son of the man that owned this engine & car.
Sure has a strong sound & starts right up altho @ present I'm chasing excessive fuel consumption but will get it figured out.
Thanks again fellows.

Sorry to hear that Lowell has passed on. He was an excellent source of information and parts.
