I use Mickey Dupuis in Holyoke, MA D&S Custom metal restoration. 413-533-7770. He has done lots of my plating work. Never a problem. Bill

Frankford plating has 3 different nickel tank chemistries when I visited a few years ago.

They can do the early dull nickel that is polished out from the 1930's (the way all the A stuff was done). This is better as it will not tarnish as fast as bright nickel.
They seem pretty conscientious about their work. I have never sent work to them to know for sure. I know they are not cheap and take a while.

Criag Riker seems to be reasonable person and has done a lot of A stuff. I am going to send parts to him one day, they are all A parts and I hope he knows how to deal with them better then a general plater.

Paul's Chrome did not follow directions and ruined some parts of mine.

Craig Riker plates my stuff, and does a nice Butler finish on the dash and other parts.
He wrote much of the chrome plating section in the Judging Standards. He is in Ohio just over the Michigan border. His email is [email protected].

I've been using ABC Plating in Sparks, NV. They do an excellent job on nickel or chrome.
