Default My 32 "Project" is no longer a "Project"

If you remember, my first day of cruising in my 32 resulted in multiple issues/problems at the end of the day. Presently I've corrected all of them with a repaired radiator from Walker, new Powergen unit replacing the generator (I left the voltage regulator in place as a dummy because it looks so cool!), finalizing exhaust issues, and repaired a host of other small things.

I finished all of that this past Thursday evening. I then proceeded to drive the wheels off the car the entire weekend. I used it for all manner of errands, a long cruise on Sat AM (and on the interstate @ 70mph) where I met jacksanddeuces and the boys in Hampton for b-fast, all kinds of local roads, rammed it around a bit, and had a whale of a time - it's an absolute blast to drive. Sure there are issues and some sounds I do not like to hear but so far, so good on most all aspects. It goes down the road smooth and straight with no vibrations felt through the column or drivetrain, steers, sounds, and rides like a hotrod, stops well, and the 5-speed really makes driving it even more fun.

I haven't put the top on it yet - I'm having too much fun driving it the way it is - and I've already been asked to use it in the William and Mary homecoming parade and two different Christmas parades. So, for all intents and purposes, the term "project" for this car is now officially dropped. I don't have a name for it yet - probably just end up the "hot rod", just like my 40 coupe is "the coupe" - but it is no longer a project that is for certain.

Once again I have to thank the Fordbarn - you guys really pitched in and helped when I needed it. See you on the road!
