1955 Ford Sunliner trunk lock
How do you get into the trunk when the key does not work?
When I turn the key, the key keeps spinning, as if nothing is nothing is behind the lock. Previously the lock worked properly. |

You might have to remove the rear seat back and find a person who is small and agile to crawl in to release the lock.

With the rear seat removed get a bunch of extensions and remove the catch, two 1/2 " bolts if I remember correctly.

Removed the seats, tried to crawl in the trunk hole, sucked in my gut to make the hole, and then connected the key lock mechanism. Not fun. Last edited by old31; 10-22-2023 at 12:48 PM. |
