Default 1968 Ford Custom 2-Door Sedan

Are there any 1968 Ford Custom 2-Door Sedan survivors?
I believe that 1969 was the last year for the full size 2-Door Sedans?

Think they are far and few between in my area (Iowa). Have only saw 1 66 and 1 67 in my lifetime and that was at a salvage yard. There maybe more in larger metropolis's. Heavy road salting in the snow belt eliminated most winter driven vehicles after 10 years old. They are cool models though.

The frames rusted out easily on the 65/72. Most any resto you read about usually starts with a frame search.

Old girlfriend had a 1968 Custom with the dog dish hubcaps in the pea green color. Her uncle worked at the Ford dealership in Geneva, Ohio and it was traded in by an elderly person in 1979.Yikes, they were probably my age now. It started to rust fairly quickly after she got it. Also remember riding in a 68 Galaxie 500 2 dr. hardtop and a 68 LTD 4dr hardtop.68 was one of those years every MFG. made a nice looking car in my opinion. I remember seeing a black 68 Torino GT with the gold C stripes coming thru town and thinking man that's beautiful.
