Re: Unknown part
That looks more like a GM part number than Ford unless it is hardware. Rod

Re: Unknown part
I typed it into both the GM and the Mopar search engines that are online and did not come up with anything even after dropping the A from the part number. I have some parts like that and the manufacturer is know and those search engines do not have them listed either, so they are not complete down to every part number ever made by them. Rod

Re: Unknown part
That looks like a Ford standard part number for a 70 body style. Usually special nuts, bolts, clips etc. When Raceron1120 on here see the post he'll decipher it for you.

Re: Unknown part
It's hard to tell without more info. If It's a Ford casting # - which it appears to be - the base # 43512 is related to the decklid, trunk, luggage compartment or that general area. The prefix BN suggests early 50s but I'm not sure which make/model. It's not in any of the books I have, they go back to '49. Might be Merc or Lincoln, I don't have a set of those books.
re: It is a trim piece very good shape maybe nos looks like tbird late 60's Not likely. Is it stainless or aluminum? By the late 60s, most trim was aluminum and the id # if for a TBird would be something like C8SB....or C9SB.....etc. Body style 70 indicates that it was originally designed for a 2 door, probably a sedan or maybe a coupe, depending on the make. Re: Unknown part
I think the BN prefix was used in 1955. I know the BM prefix is 54 trim pieces as I have some of those parts. Pic's may help. Rod

Re: Unknown part
If you a referring to the chrome trim piece, it Appears to be the garnish fitted to bottom edge of 1955 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan. This is a 70 series body, but the part has a 42512 number.
Here is a picture of that part fitted to a 55 club sedan

Re: Unknown part
If it is indeed that deck molding for the '55s, the correct part number is B5A-7042512-A
