Default Shoebox Rescue

No pictures, but just wanted to brag on my old shoebox. How come everytime someone sees an old car with the hood up, they automatically assume it's the one broke?

Got a call from my sister. Her late model car wouldn't start. Nothing serious, just needed a jump (she left the lights on). I took off in my 53 Ford (yes, it is 12V converted). I pull in next to her, popped the hood to get her car a jump. My old Ford generated some attention. A couple guys come up stick their head under my hood seeing the cables joining the 53 to the late model car and asks, "Cool car. What's wrong with it?" I with a smile said, "Not a thing. It's here on a rescue mission to jump start that car. It's THAT car with the problem.. ". They looked suprize, and said, "Now THAT would make a great Ford commercial!!!"

BTW: I took the Ford because my sister thinks all old cars are junk. I just wanted to make a "statement". She just doesn't "get it". And yes, of COURSE I rubbed it in hard while there..
