Default Right hand Drum Tailite mounting Question

When mounting a right hand tailite on a 28 29 tudor do you have to use a mount or bracket with the license plate bracket on it or is there some other type of base that will work? I have seen some pictures of a right hand lite ,but they have the license plate bracket on them. I dont want to destroy a pefectly good bracket to acheive this.
Thanks.

Are you installing twin tail lights or is the car RHD? I have pictures of RHD.
Is the bracket cast or pressed?

If its a drum type then yes, you could cut it off but why not put a extra plate on, ie from state or novelty one.

No,it is not a right hand drive. I am adding the right hand tailite to use as turn signal . Probably will leave the license bracket on though .

I made an arm that bolts to the bumper cross brace, bent it to resemble the left side arm, to avoid drilling the body apron.
