Here's a great Phil Silvers and Don Knots clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rvbg_ezlEks

Re: Quick! What movie is it?
Loved that movie, especially Jonathan Winters! They all were fantastic in it.

Did you ever see the Flim Flam Man George C Scott. Now that was a funny movie. The way he treated a car. Not sure about the spelling

Re: Quick! What movie is it?
Agree, Mad Mad Mad Mad World is in a class all it's own. That kid pointing, and Phil Silvers saying There?? there???? And then the '48 floating down the river.
And Nick Stewart in the bedless open cab '49 Pickup going over the cliff and he turns to his wife . . . I've said it before and I'll say it again, I didn't want to move to California. The casting list is like a who's who of everyone that worked in Hollywood from 1923 forward. I saw it in Cinerama in 1966. Almost died laughing.

Re: Quick! What movie is it?
Henry - replace that plastic line. Might want to look at an electric version of the gauge.
Also, the way the line is routed - if I remember my 47, that is the accelerator linkage from the pedal. Keep it away from any moving parts. And I saw that movie in Cinerama in San Francisco when it came out. Still funny today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinerama

Judging by the trail of "something" all over the place, my guess is your car.
