There would be serious consequences if I found anyone messing with my Model A.

I have a '70 VW bus (original owner) as a daily driver with a 12v ahooga horn mounted under the front of the body out of sight. I came out one morning & noticed two nuts & bolts on the ground. Yup, someone knew it was there & stole it! Got another & it's still there 20 years later.

1) I have morals, and just would never. 2) A good way to get an akickin'.

Ya know some people catch a person messin with their car, and that person that did such a thing might be begging for the police to arrest them before it was over...ya know?

If someone messes with your car and you deal with them the way you should and need help disposing of the remains, lots of us would help you.

I'm mildly autistic and somehow hard-wired where I cannot steal (or lie). The extra hard part is trying to understand how anyone else could steal. I seriously just don't understand how anyone can do that. There's a lot about "normal people" I don't understand, but that tops the list. If everyone was autistic, there would be no such thing as theft.

Moto-Meters or Quails were optional and dealer installed.

- However - The Judging Standards says :

- Quail - "Almost a million Quail ornament caps were produced for the Model A"
- Motometer - "was the most common Ford authorized accessory" - from this we can infer that there must have been more motometers than quails - that is at least a million.

In consequence this means that during the era almost every second model A had one of them, and it must have been as common to have one than not.

I have the repro Motor Meters on both of my A's and they work exactly as intended, I am very happy with them, never a problem. No I have no connection with Vintique.
