Default What cAmerican made car used this trunk emblem?

I think it's a 1950's Lincoln or Mercury, but don't know exactly what year. I found it in my parts box. Thank you in advance for the knowledge you may impart. JIM

I googled the part number and people describe it as a 53 Mercury 4 door sedan trunk emblem.

May fit other body styles I would guess, but it is a start.

Mart.

Thanks Mart. I found it also looks like the 1954 Merc trunk emblem. Wonder if it could be a two year item.

It is. Correct for 1953 or 1954 Mercury. Not specific to a certain body style.
